Flavors of Haiti is an idea created by Laurence Tillus, a young woman born in Haiti and raised in the United States. Growing proud of her country, she was hurt by the way the country has always been portrayed in the Media. Flavors of Haiti is her way of taking back the media narrative of Haiti and shining a more positive light on Haiti, its culture, and its people.
